There are no significant changes to the SC 430 this year, though Lexus will offer a Pebble Beach Edition package, which includes Azure Pearl exterior paint, black bird's eye maple interior trim, run-flat tires, a rear spoiler and a black leather golf bag.

By INDY500atAOL - December 23 - 10:00 amThe "back seats" are for luggage, not people. (actually for insurance). Its basically a 2 seater, with dummy back seats so insurance costs are lower. You can do 4 people, but its awfully tight...ok for short disdances in a pinch. Ive done it, even rode in the back. Other than that, it is a luxuious 300HP go cart. If you like to get racy, fill the tires to near the limit (44 psi?) It has The Best factory Stereo Ever made.. period.

Avoid the run-flats - 2004 Lexus SC 430
By cameron durrant - December 17 - 2:00 amYou will pay more to get run-flat tires. You will get scared when cornering or traveling over uneven toads with these tires. This will change to a feeling of being both terified to drive faster than 30 MPH, expscially in the wet, and annoyance that you will then have to pay even more to change these tires to something like Michelin Pilots which do hold the road. You will be irritated that Lexus chooses to ignore customers who suggest the run-flats do not hold the road. Happy driving, or happy sliding, if you have the run-flats and cant afford to pay more to change them.

GREAT - 2004 Lexus SC 430
By JARebo - October 19 - 10:00 amIve had this car for about 2.5 years now, and I still love it. The car has an UNBELIEVABLE interior and is soooo comftorable (unless ur sitting in the "back seats"). This car drives very well, but you can feel the bumps and potholes. Very fast car and extremely fun to drive. "Back seats" are only useful to put your bags or umbrellas. The convertible hardtop aspect is great, especially for me living in New York weather. Once I had a flat tire, and went to the gas station to get it changed, and they couldnt find the spare tire, so we went home and we realized that the tires were RUN FLAT- it was amazing; you could go up to 65 mph with a flat tire.

And the speed which the car can reach is enough for me. (personal highest yet was 156, even though some magazines say it cant go that fast The car is simply the best out there. Beautiful, reliable, fun to drive, good value and simply Lexus. Its amazing the responses some people have when they see this car past them.
